Our dear Munchkin finally gave in to congestive heart failure in late July. We sort of ran a nursing home all summer when I was off work. Took her out to pottie every hour. She could barely get herself up at the end. I can write about it now, but at the time I could barely think about it. Passed away July 17, 2012, age 11.

Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Beautiful Colorado, Beautiful Quilts and Beautiful Ladies! We are sure enjoying our time in Grand Junction Colorado this week. Here we are with the Sunset Slope Quilt Guild President, Jo Cornforth. designing, quilting, eating, laughing, sleeping and feeding chipmunks! Fun time for sure! .

Thursday, July 16, 2015. Although I finished the Kaleidoscope quilt back in September, I gifted it January, when I was able to hand it to our friends in Minneapolis. Yes, that was 6 months ago. Our friends loved it, and agreed to pose it on the wall where it will eventually live. They both have great eyes for art and design, so I hope it meets their high standards! Tuesday, July 7, 2015.
